Before joining AMA in 2021, Steve worked extensively in the shipping industry, with over 16 years of seagoing career.

Steve worked for international companies, progressing from Cadet in 2005 through to Chief Officer onboard car carriers, Polar Research Vessels, Ro-Pax Vessels and Offshore DP Vessels. During this time, he gained a broad experience on cargo handling issues and techniques, the inspection and maintenance of  ship’s structures, and spearheaded onboard safety systems with a safety culture offshore which is first class.
