An experienced mariner, senior marine consultant, and casualty investigator. Before joining AMA, John worked for five years as a deck officer on board oil tankers, gaining broad experience in navigation and cargo operations, as well as the statutory and other requirements for safe operation and management of ocean-going vessels. Following this, John moved ashore and worked as a marine surveyor and DPA.
