Open positions:

One Consultant Scientist and one Grain Expert – Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore

This position incorporates investigation and review for multiple projects: provide detailed investigative reports and findings to law firms, government agencies, insurance companies, Shipowners, Charterers, etc.

Preferred a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience in Agronomy, Biochemistry, Biology, Organic Chemistry or related fields. Graduates are welcome to apply too.

 

Bunker Surveyors – Hong Kong

Responsibilities

· To undertake bunker loading surveys and bunker quantity investigations in HK and throughout South East Asia for international clients.

Requirements

· Basic Marine Surveyor’s experience an advantage, but training will be provided
· Familiar with international bunkering practices
· Experienced with the strict implementation of bunkering procedures adopted by major shipping companies
· Fluent Cantonese, Mandarin, and a good written and spoken English
· Capable of compiling reports of high standards in English
· Applicants should be physically fit to work on board vessels, and capable of climbing ladders

Fire investigator and expert witness – Singapore and UK

This position incorporates on site fire and explosion investigation and desktop review for land based and marine incidents:
provide detailed investigative reports and findings to courts, owners, law firms, government agencies, insurance companies, charterers, etc.

Preferred:
· If former fire service – minimum 20 years continuous fire service including minimum 3 years level 2/3 fire investigation duties plus additional relevant academic qualification or fire engineering degree.
· If not former fire service – Science, engineering or related degree plus minimum 5 years fire investigation experience.
· Court and marine fire investigation experience a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities
· To undertake fire site investigations globally for international clients.
· To accept sometimes long and unsocial hours and short notice instructions.
· To undertake marketing and department development.

Requirements
· Capable of compiling reports of high standards in English
· Adequate research, computer and photographic skills.
· Applicants should be physically fit to work at fire sites, on board vessels, and capable of climbing ladders.
